Switching Gears

Focus on your potential instead of your limitations -- Alan Loy McGinnis

It was a great and productive day yesterday building out the website! Looking pretty clean if I don’t say so myself, I had fun making it all nice and pretty. There was actually a lot more tinkering than I thought there was going to be especially with making sure all the spacing was good. Shit got fucked up when I decided to change the text at the end and I’m still not super happy with it (LOL). Oh well, it’ll stay a WIP for now since I need to switch gears. I’ll be messing with other ish later on like setting up a shop on the site and figuring out the mailing list situation. The list is important because now that I’m not using Substack as a platform, I need to figure out a way to send out notifications to the real ones who decided my journey was one worth following (heh, appreciate you fam). I’ll probably end up doing some manual work for now and draft something up for the next few posts.

SO… anyway, now that I’ve got a website up, I can focus on adding onto it, levelling up a.k.a. GRINDING, STAYING CONSISTENT WITH POSTING CONTENT

You know I couldn’t resist throwing a MMORPG analogy in it, insert “y’all play MapleStory” meme here 😂

RANDOM: I realize I’m literally just sharing, thinking thoughts out loud on the blog which is chill. It’s not stressful, it’s not a drag. It’s easy and it flows. Again, this whole blog thing is really what’s helping me stay on track with everything I’m trying to accomplish. I recently had a couple friends reach out and let me know they appreciate the rawness and honesty of all this, which is hella encouraging and makes me sort of wish I didn’t edit my previous posts to fix grammar and all that (wen AI learn how to speak like me?) - all good though! If you’re here reading this and vibe with it, give me some pop by subscribing (haha), I’ve been enjoying sharing and would love to continue keeping you on the loop.

YOU ARE WATCHING A MASTER AT WORK.

Bringing it back to having some sort of consistency, my next focus is going to be automating as much as I can when it comes to creating content. Some things that come to mind are leveraging tools like Canva and AI to generate content with ease and speed. You know, actually I really want to focus on being as raw as possible so I’ll likely whip up my own list of one liners/hooks. It’s just good to know that I have AI as a sidekick if I need it.

Here’s the complete tutorial I'm referencing when I batch create my content: https://vm.tiktok.com/ZM2Ckr69p/

I’ve used this method already when batch creating content for lalacrypto (which is now, put on the back burner until further notice kek). Just a thought, but this is literally one of the biggest reasons showing how times have completely changed building a business in the digital age. We currently live in a time where we can ask ChatGPT for instructions on how to start a business in your respective city or country. We can invite a partner that’ll prompt follow up questions with answers to help set you in the right direction (check out https://www.perplexity.ai/). Shit, we even got tools out there that’ll leverage the power of ChatGPT and DALL-E to create a whole ass presentation for us by simply writing up a one liner of what we want it to entail (see https://tome.app/).

Crazy shit, I know.

We would be fools to not spend time to learn of shit like this and leverage it to our advantage.

This post was supposed to be shared yesterday but I had a bit of a brain fart, I’ll work up on another one tonight to make up for the missed post but here it is, let’s keep up this consistency train running.

Again, if you resonated with any of this - let me know in the contact section, would love to virtually shake hands and perhaps also keep each other accountable.

WAGMI 🤝
