At Least I Was Productive

Do not waste your time looking for an obstacle - maybe there is none. -- Franz Kafka

Yep, as the title says, it was a very productive day, though I found myself scrambling back and forth a lot while completing different tasks for different hustles.

Finally got a chunk of my batch content done, still got A LOT more work to do but I’ll be able to begin scheduling some to start. Honestly feeling like I should get more completed first before scheduling cause I’d like to not miss a day but I’ve got to remind myself that there’s no such thing as perfect timing. I mean, I literally wrote about it the other day (haha). So… I’ll get that set up ASAP.

The part where I was all over the place was when I couldn’t stop thinking of new ideas for #TOASTTOTHEGRIND. I had random thoughts popping up here and there and I simply allowed it, mainly because I didn’t want to forget. I know better now than to not write down a good (sometimes bad) idea. Maybe some tasks related could’ve just been noted and held off ‘til later but honestly I was just too damn excited (LOL)! I may have mentioned this already but this is finally something me and the boys have gotten on the same page with in terms of building that is. It’s just exciting to band together and be building something with a group of good people you enjoy being around. Here’s a bit of background, as much as we enjoy each other’s company, we barely hang out these days. By that, I mean it’s been like that for a few years now, mainly just due to living our busy, separate lives, all running through our own journeys. It’s just awesome to be aligned with each other again and actually get to spend some time catching up in the same process. Guess we could’ve always done this without the spaces but fuck it, life is funny that way and things happen for a reason. Anyway, it was DAY 2 of consistency and now eager to keep the ball rolling.

My friend shared something that really made me think earlier, he referenced the importance of building your brand and building a community. I forget the point he was trying to make (heh) so I’ll just share my own thoughts, of course I agree. I grew up playing video games, making online friends and running guilds, even chatting online back then where it was a bit weirder to. Nowadays it’s a bit more normalized because of how huge social media has gotten. But anyway, the point I’m tryna add is that your community will be the foundation of your success if you decide to go this route, they’re the ones who resonate and will possibly support you if they like you. And the point I really want to drill in is especially how easy it is to start building and growing your personal brand right now, today.

We are living in the digital age of 2023.

Can't help but reminisce about what a crazy fucking ride it's been (just everything up until now). Definitely looking forward for what's yet to come. I've heard and continue to hear way too many success stories to not see this thing all the way through.

I'm both eager and excited, and will continue to push and work as hard as I can.

Will catch you all up in the next one, thanks for reading, for real 🙏
